The planning meetings
Step 1-The initial chat to find out if we fit.
You can contact me via email, phone, or WhatsApp to enquire.
This chat usually involves me checking if you have a venue booked and finding out whether you want to hire me as your Celebrant. If you'd rather have a face-to-face or Teams chat, we arrange that and meet for a coffee half way.
Step 2- The planning meeting.
At this point, it gets serious. Deposits have been paid, and we get to meet. I come armed with my pen and notepad to delve into your story. This normally takes between 2 and 4 hours, but it's been known to take longer (so please make sure you have a whole morning or afternoon for this). I will ask questions like how you met, what you love about each other, and who you may want involved during the ceremony. I will take lots of notes and send you an email to make sure I have captured everything how you want it, then ill make a start on the script. If you want to keep this a remote planning meeting, just let me know and we can plan via Teams.
Step 3- Draft script is sent
The script will be almost ready to go, and the final payments will have been made, which means the big day is just around the corner! I've sent you a copy of the draft so you can look it over and make any changes you want. This usually takes place 6 weeks from the ceremony date to allow for changes.
Step 4- The BIG DAY
Nerves are running high, final checks are being made to suits or dresses, prosecco is flowing (not through me until after the ceremony).
I will arrive at the venue at least 90minutes prior to the ceremony.
